교수

김영민 교수는 서울대학교 정치외교학부 교수이다. 서울대학교에 부임하기 전에는 미국 브린모어대학 (Bryn Mawr College)에서 가르쳤다. 김영민 교수의 연구 관심 분야는 한국정치사상, 동아시아정치사상, 비교정치사상이며, 연구서로는 한국어판, 영어판, 중국어판 <중국정치사상사> 등이 있다. 그 밖에 다수의 번역서와 에세이집이 있으며, 예술비평에도 종사한다.

Youngmin Kim is a Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Seoul National University. Before joining Seoul National University, he taught at Bryn Mawr College in the United States. His research interests include Korean political thought, East Asian political thought, and comparative political thought. He is the author of the book History of Chinese Political Thought, which has been published in Korean, English, and Chinese. He is also active in publishing translations, essays, and art critiques and is on the editorial board of the Studies in the History of Political Thought, Brill.
